Unlocking a User Account

A user account is locked after an attempt to log in fails five or more times. Only an Account Administrator can unlock a user account.

You can unlock only one user account at a time.

To unlock a user account

  1. On the Infor home page, click the User Management button in the upper right part of the page. The User Management page opens.

If you do not see this button, you are not an Account Administrator and do not have access to this functionality.

  2. Without entering anything into the Username field, Click Search to bring up a list of all Infor users.

  3. Search for a username, or click the Locked column header to quickly see all locked accounts.

  4. Select the username, then click Unlock Account.

  5. Click Continue in the confirmation message. You will be notified that the account is now unlocked.

Tip: To reset a password, the user should click the Forgot Your Password? link on the login page. The user will be directed to enter their username and a code, then the user will receive an email message with instructions for resetting the password.
