Revalidating an unprocessed plan

Before you revalidate an unprocessed plan, check the log entries of the failed release order import in the detail view of the Unprocessed Plans page. Correct the requirement data on this page, or add missing master data, or correct the processing rules. If the problem is solved, you can revalidate the unprocessed plan. The revalidation starts again the global validation of the unprocessed plan independent of the last processing status.

To revalidate an unprocessed plan:

  1. Select Release Management > Unprocessed Plans.
  2. Select an unprocessed plan.
  3. Click Revalidate.
    The unprocessed plan is processed again.
    Note:  When a plan with the exception status Failed is revalidated and is processed successfully:
    • The application attempts to process the next plan in the sequence.
    • The next plan with the exception status Blocked is considered and is identified based on the same business key and the next message sequence number.
    • If the processing is successful, the application continues processing the subsequent Blocked plans in sequence.
