Reviewing the details of a communication provider routing setup

The Communication Provider Routing page includes a list of the defined communication provider routing setups.

To review the list of communication provider routing setups:
  1. Select Transformation > Configuration > Communication Provider Routing.
  2. Click the Drill down button of a communication provider routing setup to display the detail view of the Communication Provider Routing page.
  3. Review this information:
    External Partner ID
    The identifier received from the communication-provider metadata.
    Data Set Name
    The Data Set Name (DSN) received from the communication-provider metadata.
    Trading Partner
    The trading partner associated with the routing setup.
    Message Standard
    The message standard used to process the incoming file. Possible values:
    • ASC X12
    • BEMIS
    • BOD
    • Comma-seperated Values
    • Custom Formats
    • Fixed Formats
    • IDoc
    • No Message Standard
    • ODETTE
    • TRADACOMS
    • UN- EDIFACT
    • VDA
    • XML
    Message Type
    The message type used to process the incoming file. Possible values:
    • Select Message Type
    • Extract from Message
    Message Type Start

    The starting position of the message type in the incoming file.

    When a Message Type is not specified, the application uses the values in the Message Type Start and Message Type End to determine the message type from the incoming message content.

    Note: This field is displayed only if the Message Type field is set to Extract from Message.
    Message Type End

    The ending position of the message type in the incoming file.

    When a Message Type is not specified, the application uses the values in the Message Type Start and Message Type End to determine the message type from the incoming message content.

    Note: This field is displayed only if Message Type field is set to Extract from Message.
