Import Message Details

Note: The TFSDataManager role is required to enable users to edit, create, re-validate or delete a record on the detail view of the Import Messages page. The capabilities of the TFSDataManager role are automatic for any users assigned the roles of AE-Administrator or AE-TFSAdmin.

In the detail view of the Import Messages page, you can manually import a message. You can review and edit the message content, check the error messages, or delete the message. Additionally, you can upload XML message files into the application.

On this page, you can review this information:

  • In the upper-part of the page, check the header information of the message.
  • In the Source Message text box, you can check the content of the message.
  • If the message status is Error, you can check the error messages in the detail view of the Incoming Messages page. Click View Log Entries. In the Log Entries dialog box, the error messages are displayed. You can view the reason why the message could not be imported.
