Generation of Shipping Paperwork

Shipping enables suppliers to use InterFormNG to generate the required VDA 4939 shipping documents:

• The shipping documents are printed from InterFormNG as done for other printed documents after a shipment has been frozen in the ERP system, such as Infor LN. InterFormNG uses the VDA 4939 print template to generate the shipping documents.
• To enable this process, the Packing Slip Type VDA4939 must be configured in the Customers code list.
• As soon as the supplier has a valid document, the ASN can be triggered through EDI.
