Assigning shippers

It may be necessary to manually adjust master shipments.
Note: The Complete status of a master shipment prevents manual changes.

Example: A shipper that has been assigned to a master shipment can be shipped earlier than expected. You can assign this shipper to another master shipment that is shipped at an earlier point of time.

  1. Select Shipping > Master Shipments.
  2. Click Drill down to open the Master Shipment that contains the shipper you want to reassign.
  3. Click the Assigned Shippers tab.
This tab shows a list of all the shippers that are part of this master shipment. They are consolidated because their individual shipper statuses were set to Complete and their shipment dates lie within the pool point's time frame.
  4. In the List of Assigned Shippers, select the shipper that you want to reassign.
  5. Click Unassign.
  6. Select Shipping > Master Shipments.
  7. Click Drill down to open the master shipment to which you want to assign the shipper.
  8. Click the Available Shippers tab.
The Available Shippers tab shows the shippers that are delivered to this customer and pool point that have shipment data beyond the specified time frame. Note that only deliveries with the Complete status are available.
  9. Select the shipper that you want to reassign and click Assign.
The List of Assigned Shippers is updated.
  10. Click the Tasks tab.
This tab shows the tasks that were specified in the master shipment level workflow and their status. You can process the tasks that are shown on this tab by setting the master shipment status to Complete.
  11. Optionally, at the top right of the page, select Set Status > Set to Complete.
