Phase Out Items

On the Phase Out Items page, you can view, create, and edit phase out items.

Phase out items provide the basis for assigning the demand requirements of release orders related to a customer item to one or more contract lines. The phase out item and its associated internal supplier items have an effective date range which determines the assigned contract lines for those requirements.

You can define the details for each phase out item. These include the effective dates, the related customer, ship to, and customer item. On each phase out item record, there are one or more internal supplier item numbers with a corresponding Effective from Date and Effective to Date which determines the appropriate contract line to which each requirement is assigned.

Note: If the code list PhaseOutItemsActivation has been implemented, the Phase Out Items page is used for only data viewing purposes.
