Support for ASC X12 997 Functional Acknowledgment
When an inbound ASC X12 997 Functional Acknowledgment message is processed, it is reconciled with the original outbound Advance Ship Notice (ASN) / invoice message. The incoming Functional Acknowledgment message includes the Group Control Number (GS) of the original ASN or invoice message in for the link.
A new menu item has been implemented that enables access to the new Functional Acknowledgment page. On this page, the inbound ASC X12 997 Functional Acknowledgment messages are displayed that have been received in response to the original messages. The messages are stored with their corresponding original document details.
On the Manage Messages page, users can check the functional acknowledgment status of the outgoing EDI messages in the new column Functional Acknowledgment Status.
In the detail view of the Partner IDs page, users can configure whether a Functional Acknowledgment is expected or not in the field Functional Acknowledgment Expected: Not Expected or Expected.
In the field Functional Acknowledgment Waiting Time (Minutes), you define the time period in which a Functional Acknowledgment is expected to be received.
The new alert messages TFS-006 Late FA and TFS-007 Rejected are raised, if an expected message is not received in the specified time period respectively, if the message is rejected or has an error status.
