The On-Premises Communication Agent uses an external trading partner code to identify the connection point and protocol that is used for the communication.
On the On-premises Partner Mappings page, you can review the mapping of the application's trading partner code to an external trading partner code. This mapping ensures that outbound EDI is directed to the correct connection point using the correct communication method.
Note: From release 2021.12.00, you must access the Partner IDs page under
the menu to configure the outbound
communication to an external trading partner.
