Password restrictions

In passwords for database users or application users, uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and any special characters can be used, with these exceptions:

• Leading spaces, for example " mypwd"
• Single quote, for example "my'pwd"

These rules apply to passwords that you specify when you create business users.
