Validating a text message
On the View Text Messages and Text Message Details pages, you can validate text messages.
To validate a text message:
- Select Release Management > View Text Messages.

Select one or multiple text messages from the displayed list
and click Validate.
The status then changes to New and the text message is processed again.
If the corresponding combined plans have been updated successfully, then the status is set to Processed. The status description contains the plan IDs of the updated plans.
If an error occurs when the related combined plans are updated, then the status is set to Failed. The status description shows an error message.
- To search for plans that have been updated by the text message and to check the plan notes, select Release Management > View Plans.
- In the search field of the Plan ID column, specify one of the plan IDs that are displayed in the Status Description field of the Text Message Details page.
- Click the Drill down button of a displayed active plan.

On the Notes tab, review this information:
- Entry Date
- The date on which the OEM has added the comment.
- Author
- The author of the comment.
- Note Text
- A short description of the modifications.
