Creating a communication system

  1. Select COMMUNICATION > Communication Systems.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify a connection type. These connection types are available:
    Note: Depending on the available licenses not all options may be selectable.
    • OFTP/IP
    • OFTP/ISDN
    • OFTP/X25
    • OFTP/X31D
    • FTP Client
    • FTP Server
    • GXS
    • X400
    • AS2
  4. Specify the direction. The available directions depend on the connection type. For OFTP and AS2, you can select Send or Receive. For FTP, GXS, and X400, Send and Receive is mandatory.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Specify the required information.
    The information that you must specify depends on the selected connection type. This manual describes the required settings separately for the different connection systems.
  7. Click OK.
