Reviewing log entries

In the Log Entries dialog box, the processing steps that are performed to import the release order and the errors that happened are displayed.

To review the log entries of an unprocessed plan:

  1. Select Release Management > Manage Unprocessed Plans.
  2. Click the Drill down button of an unprocessed plan.
  3. Click the More icon and select View Log Entries.
  4. In the Log Entry dialog box, review this information:
    Date
    The log date and time of the documented step to import the release order.
    User
    The user who performed the processing step.
    Type
    The log type of the documented step to import the release order. These log types exist:
    • Info: The import step is completed successfully.
    • Warning: A warning happened during the release order import.
    • Error: An error happened during the release order import.
    • Fatal Error: A critical error happened during the release order import.
    • System Error: A system error happened during the release order import.
    Process
    The step of the import process that is performed.
    Process Text
    A message for the processing step is displayed. If the unprocessed plan must be approved manually, a message shows that you must approve the plan manually. If an error happens, the message displays a short error description.
