Status of unprocessed plans

On the Manage Unprocessed Plans page, different status fields indicate the processing situation of an unprocessed plan:

  • Approval Status: This status shows whether an unprocessed plan has been approved, a manual approval of the unprocessed plan is required, or has been rejected.
  • Processing Status: This status shows the last successful processing step to import the requirement of an unprocessed plan.
  • Exception Status: This status shows whether the import of an unprocessed plan failed, because an error happened.

Unprocessed plans that have the exception status Failed block the processing of new incoming release orders for the same contract line. These blocked plans receive the exception status Blocked to keep the correct processing sequence of incoming release orders. Plans that have the exception status Blocked are processed automatically. This happens when the preceding plans that failed are deleted, archived, rejected, approved, or revalidated and successfully processed.

Unprocessed plans that have the exception status Pending are sequence schedules that contain the item data and requirements. These plans remain on the Manage Unprocessed Plans page until they are completed by sequential call-offs that include the sequencing data. The sequencing data of incoming sequential call-offs are copied into the provided plan fields of the sequence schedules order lines. When the requirements of the order lines are completed with sequencing data, the sequence schedules are processed automatically and removed from the Manage Unprocessed Plans page.

Additionally, you can search for partially sequenced unprocessed plans and manually revalidate these plans. A partially sequenced unprocessed plan is a sequence schedule that has at least one requirement in an order line completed by the sequencing data. The other order lines are still not completed by the sequencing data of a sequential call-off.

All other plans are processed until they fail or are published. Published plans receive the processing status Current Plan. Failed plans receive as processing status the last successfully performed process step.
