RAN process with planning schedules

Some trading partners send RAN numbers on requirement level in a planning schedule message. For example, Nissan North America, uses ASC X12 830 planning schedule messages with RAN numbers. In addition to the referenced business process that uses RAN numbers in shipment schedules, Release Management allows to use RAN numbers in planning schedules. To process the requirements of the RAN releases, the shipment lines and the requirements that are based on the RAN numbers must be matched correctly.
