Date Range Rules
On the Date Range Rules page, you can create, edit, copy, and delete date range rules.
Date range rules configure how requirement quantities of release orders that have a defined date range are scheduled. For example, you can configure that requirement quantities are scheduled on a specific date of the month. Or you can configure that requirements are split into several equable requirements over the whole date range.
You can define a date range rule for a customer, a ship to of a customer, a message type, and a message subtype.
These are the main configuration options:
- You can specify a standard time for requirement dates without time definitions. The standard time is valid for requirements with different frequencies such as daily requirements, weekly requirements, week range requirements, and monthly requirements.
- You can specify the requirement day for weekly requirements. The start date defines the beginning of the week and the end date defines the end of the week.
- You can configure a specific requirement day of a month for monthly requirements. If the specified day is 0, the requirement day is the first day of the month.
- The distribution of the
requirement quantity supports weekly date ranges:
- The requirement quantity is scheduled on the first week.
- The requirement quantity is scheduled on the last week of this date range.
- The requirement quantity is split into several equable weekly requirements over the whole date range.
